JUNIORRR YEARRR!

Ahh this year is going to be absolutely crazy! I am working 35 hours a week at the Matador Bookstore on Campus, and as an Academic Mentor in the dorms. SO MUCH WORK!!(on top of going to school full time). I love all of my jobs, but man at the end of the day I am dead tired! I had an amazing end to my summer! Dennisha, Sydney, Liah, and I went to Millions of Milkshakes in Beverly Hills to celebrate out last summer night:

The day before, Tanith, Sydney, Liah, Dennisha, Katryna, Hillary, and I went to the mall and I did suprisingly well! I actually saved money! (well not really haha) My favorite buy of the day were these candles:

Also, in Forever 21, we found DIONTAY GLASSES so naturally I had to take a picture to send to him :): 

BRING ON YEAR 3! AND 353 DAYS TILL I GET MY BOYFRIEND BACK!

ONE YEAR DONE!

TODAY IS AUGUST 18, 2011, WHICH MEANS ONE YEAR DONE TO THE MOST AMAZING MISSIONARY IN THE WORLD, ELDER JORDAN FLORES!!! I AM SO BEYOND HAPPY!!

Through out this past year, I have been able to do so many things. I think the most important thing I have done is grow alot closer to his family. I love them so much and they are the most supportive people ever!

We went to Utah....

I got to do baptisms with his mom....

Went on many adventures with my friends...

Did a bunch of volunteer work.....

But most of all, I continued loving this man the whole way through

Friends aren't always the people you think they are.

These past few days have been absolutely terrible, I have never felt so betrayed by so many of my "friends" in my whole life. Every different group of friends that I have have hurt me to the infininte extent these past few days, and somehow I am thinking that it isnt a coincidence. I am thinking that it has happened to teach me a lesson. Maybe I needed to evaluate all my friends before this point. Maybe I shouldnt have become close to people fast. Maybe I shouldnt be myself around them. I really dont know, and at this point, I really dont care. I will not try to make someone like me, and I will not try to make amends. Im sick and tired of being hurt, but forgiving them, because they are my "friends." Basically, if you keep having to figure out where you stand with someone, it might be time to walk away. I cant sit around let people hurt me. So you know what I say, SCREW YOU.

AMP/RA Retreat!

So the past 2 days i've been in Santa Barbara with all the AMP's/ RA's! We had a super fun time bonding, doing activities, and going down to the beach! Here's a few pics from the trip!! :)

Academic Mentor Program

So this year, I am an Academic Mentor in the dorms at CSUN! Right now we are training M-F 9-5 and it is actually pretty cool! Im meeting a TON of new people who are prettyyyy awesome :) Ive been so busy and had no time to update my blog :) I'll be back soon :)
