A mission equals 7300 hours of hard work!!!
Just for your comparison -
You would have to attend church for 46 years (at 3 hours every Sunday), never missing a Sunday block, to equal the time spent on a mission.
...
You would have to be a perfect seminary student and never miss a single day for 54 years (at 50 minutes every day) to equal one mission.
You would need to obtain three Bachelors Degrees (4944 hours), three Masters degrees (1074 hours), and three Doctorate degrees (1290 hours), to equal the time spent on a mission.
I LOVE MY MISSIONARY! DO WORK ELDER FLORES! 414 days!

Happy Father's day, Dad!
I pretty much have the coolest dad in the world! I am so lucky that he stuck around and took care of our family so well. He danced with me when I was young, taught me how to ride a bike, helped me in school, taught me how to drive a car, and has guided me in many decisions (boys, life, etc.) He has always been there for my family, and I am eternally grateful for that. I hope one day I can be sealed to him for all of the eternities.
Last but definately not least, Happy Father's Day to my Heavenly Father. Before I became a member, I didnt even realize that I had a Father in Heaven. With the knowledge that I do have one comes great happiness and joy.

NO NO NO
Oh no. It has happened. I never thought it would! Seriously, sometimes I HATE being in Oceanside. It brings back memories and puts people back into my life that shouldnt be here. They were out of my life for a reason and they should stay that way. What the heck. I hate that I always am thinking, "Well, you have to see how it goes, give em a chance..." etc. I seriously wish that I could have some kind of confirmation right now. I hate not knowing. What is my life right now. help.

Del Mar Fair :)
Sydney, Palina, Alex, and I went to the Del Mar Fair yesterday! It was so much fun! We had a blast riding the rides and almost dying, looking at the animals, shopping, and of course, eating a fried twinkie (which was really good by the way!!) I had a great time. I wish Sydney didnt have to go back home, but I will see her soon!!

Being a Missionary Girlfriend is:
hard, terrible, long, happy, fun, boring, lonely, special, spiritual, and definately takes a certain kind of girl to come out successful. Good thing I can do this and I have thee most amazing guy to wait for!! :)
"im really striving to become more like the savior so i can not only be a better person, but be a better boyfriend and future husband to you.....i remember in pres monson's talk about living in a way that would make our spouse want to keep us....and so the thought of ever losing you frightens me sooo much, and so i strive to be the best that i can to make sure that i have you forever! you srsly mean everything to me baby, and even tho this mission and sacrificing my 2 years of being with you is the hardest thing i ever had to do in my entire life, i know it will be worth it when i have you in front of me, kneeling at the altar of the beautiful san diego temple ready to make the new and everlasting covenant....thats my dream!!! i love you baby!"-Elder Flores
Sometimes I wonder if there is such a thing as a "better guy" than Jordan. Result: NOPE!!!

An Amazing Story for an Amazing Sunday :)
The following event took place in a ward in Salt Lake City in 1974. It occurred during Sacrament Meeting and was told to me by a Regional Representative of the twelve, who was in the meeting. A young man, just before leaving on his mission, stood in Sacrament Meeting and bore, in essence, the following testimony. "My Brothers and Sisters, as you know, during the past few weeks I have been awaiting my mission call. During the time I was waiting I had a dream I was in the pre-existence and was awaiting my call to come to earth. I was filled the same excitement and anticipation that I had before I received my mission call. In my dream, I was talking to a friend. He was a very dear friend, and I felt a special closeness to him, even though I've never met him in this life. As we talked, a messenger came and gave me a letter. I knew it was my call to go to earth. In great excitement my friend and I opened the letter I gave it to him and asked him to read it aloud. The letter said: You have been called to earth in a special time and to a special land. You will be born into the true church, and you will have the priesthood of God in your home. You will be raised with many advantages and many blessings. You will be born in a land of plenty-a land of freedom. You will go to earth in the United States of America. "My friend and I rejoiced as we read my call. And while we rejoiced, the messenger returned. This time he had a letter for my friend. We knew it was his call to earth. My friend gave me the letter to read aloud. The letter said: You have been called to go to earth in circumstances of poverty and strife. You will not be raised in the true church. Many hardships will attend your life. Your land will be fraught with political and social difficulties which will hinder the word of the Lord. You will be born in Costa Rica. We wept, my friend and I as we read his call. And my friend looked at me with tears in his eyes and said, "when we are down on earth, you in your choice land and me in Costa Rica, my friend, come and find me." Then this young missionary, with tears in his own eyes, said, "Brothers and Sisters, I have received my mission call. I am going to Costa Rica. There is a special sequel to this story. About a year after this Sacrament Meeting, the Bishop to this Ward received a letter form the Missionary in Costa Rica. The letter had one sheet of paper in it, and on the sheet was written in inch-high letter four word: I FOUND MY FRIEND. (From the Journal of Floyd A. Hill.)
I love that members of the Church have the oppurtunity to serve missions :)
